I’m sorry I could write a novel on how much I love Paul Newman

If it wasn’t finals week, I would have been more on top of this, but he was my first favorite classic actor. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, oh my Lord, he was just absolutely perfect and I remember hating Brick at first and then I was like “you poor thing”, and that scene where him and Big Daddy are like having a heart to heart in the basement, I mean, that sealed the deal. So much tension I could taste it, it was magnificent. I was hooked to old movies and him. I remember like a week after watching it I went to Target and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was on sale, so I just bought it and it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Same with the The Sting, and Hud, and The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke and Harry & Son. I haven’t seen a movie he is in that I absolutely couldn’t watch. He is by far my favorite actor, in every era. Followed and maybe even next to, Gregory Peck. He was such an amazing and compassionate man, one of my biggest inspirations and was an actor that we will never see the likes of again. If I could put into words what he brought to film, I would, but I can’t.
