Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself. 

  1. I have two middle names: Emily-Martha (I wish they were cooler, but that’s alright.)
  2. My grandmother is from Costa Rica, her name is Maria. 
  3. I cannot blow a bubble, but I’m the best whistler I know.
  4. I have 3 sisters, one brother, 3 stepbrothers and one stepsister.
  5. These facts are not really interesting, and don’t get your hopes up because it will probably get more boring from here.
  6. I am obsessed with the Civil War and Native American history.
  7. When I was younger I loved Orcas and Keiko was my hero. I was depressed for a couple weeks when he died, I still collect Keiko stuffed animals, and watch the tape of him being moved to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. 
  8. I met Mickey Rooney at a parade when I was 9 or 10.
  9. I watch an episode of Ghost Adventures every day.
  10. I went to a Bob Dylan concert last year and cried throughout the whole thing. It was literally a dream come true.
  11. A few years ago when I was staying in Redding, California, I met Donal Logue (his movies include The Patriot, Charlie St. Cloud, Just Like Heaven, and the TV show Grounded for Life) in an elevator, some friends and I hung out with him and his kids and got to see the inside of his Explorer and his hotel room. He and his wife were separating at the time. We kept quoting his lines in movies and I think he got a little annoyed because it was 2 o’clock in the morning.
  12. I want to be a linguist or history teacher or both.
  13. I traveled to France and Italy this summer, which was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to go back.
  14. I am double jointed in my elbows, so I can bend them in weird ways. I can make a clover with my tongue too.
  15. I’ve had the same best friend for almost 7 years, her name is Amy. 
  16. I am extremely close with my two cousins, Kellie and Michael. I consider them siblings.
  17. I lost my stepmother to cancer in June 2010, her name is Dianna, and I think about her every day.
  18. One of the things on my bucket list is to see a pod of Orcas out in the wild.
  19. Even though it was riddled with fear and violence at times, my childhood was the happiest time of my life.
  20. I love to fish and I wish I did it more often, unfortunately my mom doesn’t like to do much of anything outside of the city.
  21. The movies that made me fall in love with old films were “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “The Beast of the City”.
  22. I am an avid reader of non-ficion, most of my books are biographies or history books.
  23. A lot of people say I look like Liv Tyler, and I went through a phase where I had an entire wall covered in pictures of her. She is still one of my favorite people.
  24. My mom and I like to randomly break out in “Dixie” and “Oh, Susanna” when we’re out in public. 
  25. I really love feet, my mom says that when I was born I already had calluses on my heels, so my feet are really tough and disgusting, it takes a lot of work to keep them looking pretty. I’m running out of things to say, obviously.
  26. My older sister and I are like a pair of 12 year old boys when we’re together. For about two years every time one of us had to fart we would record it with her cell phone recorder, I would say there was probably 4 hours worth of farts on her phone. It was awesome.
  27. I make a lot of noises and sometimes I call people by the name Vern when they’re annoying me. 
  28. Every time I listen to the Eagles I become completely relaxed and I always feel like I am in a desert in Arizona or something. 
  29. One of my earliest memories is eating dog food when I was 3 years old and liking it. No joke, I can still remember the taste too.
  30. When I watch romance movies alone, I cry and rewind a lot. 



My name is Paris and I’m seventeen. I don’t want to make a list of things I post because it varies so often. I am a huge history buff and I love classic films. I enjoy obsessing over actors and musicians and laughing at just about everything. I am a Christian and I post about my faith and God sometimes. For fun I study languages and read books, watch movies and cook. I want to be a linguist or a history teacher. For now I am just biding my time and going through the motions, hoping I am squeezing all that I can from this life.
